In my opinion....

1. No, it won't delay the process
but can speed up the process...coz if you have appointed a recognized/registered Representative, they are fully trained and have better idea to represent your case...Moreover case worker take it easy as he knows that Representative won't leave any loophole VO need to get stressed out!! (dudegujrat is good example of it)

2. answer is Yes... Coz if u have travel history, that shows your reliability and this can speed up process!! (but,if VO want to verify it the it can delay the process)

1. No for sure, I also applied through a consultant only
2. Yes I guess, as more travel history means more background/security check
3. Yes a bit, more members - so more check
4. I dont think so, with same NOCs few got Visa itself and few are still waiting for MR etc (as per the excel sheet link that babbu shared sometime back)

no hiring a consultant wont effect the speed of process..

There is for sure some problem with postal service in my country..i applied police certificate and online status it is approved a week ago..approved means they will post it on the same day..bt seven days passed i didnt receive letter...

1.no...... in my opinion with expert in consultancy we can be processed very quickly because all our documents in order by there expeirence.
2.May be or may be not even i had travel history but got MR after one month.
3.Does not even matter members it cant slow the the process because all check can be done same time.
4.no but can not understand there process.
