Me also from NDVO..hope I also receive by end of this month.
I have read in qorax thread that NDVO DOES MAJORITY OF BACKGROUND CHECK AFTER MR/RPRF/PPR.
PLS UPDATE OR SHARE ANY VIEWS.
BY THE WAY ,DID UR EMPLOYER GOT VERIFICATION CALL.PLS SHARE.

can u plz provide that link frm qorax wherein he has mentioned that ndvo does majority of background check after MR/RPRF/PPR.

I guess what background checks u are referrin to is security and criminality checks. Bcoz any VO will provide u a MR only once he is happy with all ur credentials provided.....

hi Spartan, most of those who received their MRs from Manila V.O. are the ones who got 2nd AOR in January and first week February and mostly doctors/dentist... all those who got MRs are ahead of my time line though so that's something im happy about

Can anyone tell me how can i obtain the PCC from ND passport office?

Congrats buddy for MR ...

For PCC you can fill up an online form, from this website http://www.passportindia.gov.in

This is the new Passport and other related service website. This new system is managed by TCS and is much better then the regular GPO (General Passport office). Once you apply online you can schedule an appointment to the PSK (passport seva kendra) close to you. Then you need to visit the PSK with 500 Rs, Address proof, and original Passport. IF the Granting officer waives you pre-verification then you will get the PCC immediately. Just in case the Granting officer decided to put your request through pre-verification process then it will take time, since you need to get police verification cleared which would be initiated by the PSK, and as usual for Government services it might take as long as one month.
