Finally, I received MR at 1:40pm today 8) 101 days after PER

I am confused between transaction receipt and official receipt. I guess you might have received email after you paid the RPRF fees using their link. I would send that pdf copy containing receipt number (I guess this is official receipt) to the address (CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca) mentioned in the steps provided in your CIC email. Hope this helps.

Hi guys :

Got MR today. Feeling little light now.

Just a quick question:

I sent RPRF transaction receipt but I supposed to send Official Receipt. So, do i need to send in the same email or send new email. Second, is there any typical format(Subject line or email body text, etc) that I should follow.

Thanks,

Next is your turn my friends, ojohn22 and Richard1234 :D :D

Hi guys,

I also had the same issue. Transaction Receipt is what shows up on your screen immediately after paying the RPRF . But, It is not the official RPRF Receipt. The official Receipt needs to have a barcode on it which needs to be printed, filled, scanned and sent to the CIC.

I didn't get the official Receipt immediately after the payment and this was the case for some other applicants. Eventually, I got it after 2 days of payment. When I already had sent an email including my transaction receipt.

First I sent an email, indicating that I didn't receive the official receipt and just got the Transaction Receipt and explained the situation (I included the transaction receipt in my email). Later, once I got the Official Receipt I sent another email with the official Receipt (my previous email was also included in the email); I haven't received any reply from them back; I'll let you know once I get any feedback. There were the same cases for some guys and some had never received their official Receipt, and had no problem with their application later on. Anyway, I think it's better to contact CIC and inform them with whatever payment receipt that you have.

One moment ago, I checked the CIC system. It shows that "We received your application for permanent residence on November 20, 2014. We started processing your application on May 15, 2015."

What results will I possibly receive? Rejection or MR, right?

It's gonna be MR and RPRF! Congratulations!

You will get MR and RPRF. This 2nd line appeared after I paid RPRF and MR. So, you are expecting MR soon. Good luck.

No sir.
They didn't ask for any other document. Although i traveled with every document i believed they could ask for such as POF, studentship status, etc, but they never asked for anything apart from passport and CoPR. I just shredded the other documents after leaving the border.
But i will advice you travel with all necessary documents that you think they might ask for. Different officers work differently. Who knows the manner of officer that will attend to you? It is better to be safe than sorry.

Hi. Is it really necessary to fill in, scan and email? I just emailed the official recipet the way I got it which had the payment info and my name on it. When we send it we attach it to an email with all our application information. How can this be confused or lost?
