I am new in this forum and couldn't go through all pages. I need urgent advice as I need to submit my application within these 2 days
I have all my documents ready except ECA report. I called WES many times but they said its delayed because of internal research.
Does any one apply without sending the ECA report and got passed the initial assessment.
Do you think its possible to submit my application with a printed page of my account with WES stating that my documents are accepted and under evaluation?
the other question,
I managed only to send my master documents to WES for evaluation. Do I need to send the bachelor degree to get educational scores or the master is enough.

Please advice.

I am very sorry to tell you that if you have not received your WES report yet, you cannot apply under PhD stream category unless you have already completed your PhD degree. If you send your application even with a print out of your WES online profile, it will be returned to you as incomplete.
My best advice: Do not apply now and wait for Express Entry.

I am not sure how much time do they need for checking the file completeness and return. Anyone has an idea?
My concern is to catch the old system. I am thinking to send the ECA report as soon as I receive it which could be within a week or 10 days and so I manage to complete my file before it gets rejected.
Is there any chance for that?

As long as your email address is provided in Generic Application form, you will get it by email. Once if you see your ECAS active, you can change the address.... Gud luck....

I am confused about what to write! Don't wanna piss-off VO. I got my medical req on 29th Aug, along with some other documents like bank deposit history, undergrad ECA (I sent MS only before), etc. and they gave me 2 months.

My med was done immediately but ECA took little bit longer time.
All additional documents reached CIC on 29th October, and same day I received an email from CIC that they are giving me one month extra to provide documents. Then, I sent them an email saying that my documents were delivered already, gave them tracking number. Never got any reply from them except the generic one,

May be VO put away my application for another month on Oct 29th, so technically I am waiting 2 months for PPR. I requested for GCMS on 8th Dec. Maybe after I get that I would know what is really going on.

I submitted everything (including medical results) on September 17th and I am still waiting for the PPR!

I sent an email about the delay and they told me that I am in the process of background check and there is no estimation time for that! They told me that my case has fallen outside of the normal processing time.

It depends again on many factors, mainly how CIO is dealing with them.

For example till mid-august applications, they charged cc and ECAS was updated just 2-3 days before PER. That means after CC they did not touch the files for 2 weeks. (My cc was charged on 16th Nov, ECAS was active from 29-Nov, PER 2-Dec)

After that from early Sept, they charged CC very fast, all the Sept CC were charged in the span of 1-2 weeks. And their Ecas was active for 2-3 weeks (some cases even a month) before PER received.

So, the actual procedure is, CC will be charged first after completion check, then someone will enter ur file detail to compute system (by scanning the bar code generated) and keep it for review by office. Now, it depends on the officer, number of files already waiting for review and complication of ur file.

The PER email can be delayed if one officer is not satisfied with something. If so, he cannot directly issue NER, he has to send it to another officer to confirm if it is NER, the other officer (superior) will issue either PER or NER.

Don't worry. If it gets there even by 31st, since CIC is a part of government, they will be open. Your only concern should be Canada post so that it does not delay the delivery once more.

I was stupid enough to miss that there is an address for couriers, with a street address. I thought that the address with PO BOX is the only one I can use, and that's why Canada Post was the only solution. Now I'm thinking about sending a new package on Monday by a courier service. Do you guys think that would be a smart move and what will happen if CIC receives two same applications?
