Apparently CIC has shifted non-striking guys to visa processing, and the process of permanent residency is almost stopped.

Who knows :). The bad point is that there is no movement from the government's side to resolve the problem.

Sagar's rejection apparently had nothing to do with the early document request. In fact his work experience was accepted and accrued him up to 17 points. The only thing that let him down was his standardized test scores (10/24) and the famous 5 adaptability points. Even if he had maxed out points for work experience there was just no way he could have made it with those language scores. He relied on adaptability seeing him through. Even though what you hypothesize may be right the evidence you offer is not quite right at least in this case !!
My language score is also low but thankfully I have solid 9 adaptability points. 5 from my Canadian Masters and 4 from my Spouse Education (MBA). They considered my 3 yrs work experience but if they even reduce to 1 yr I should survive (Total 73 points given in last GCMS). Isn't that :(((

if i read your post correctly, i feel that they are asking you for POF again since they want to see the account activity for the past 6 months...why didn't you send that for your Canadian account in the first place?...that might have made them suspicious...so the only thing to do is send in all your statements again+account activity for all those accounts....i don't understand why you feel uncomfortable sending CPP your chequing account activity information??...if you are using money from that account as well to meet your POF requirement you have to show the account activity for that account!
Thank you for your reply. My chequing account drops sometimes to less than a $100. But I am not considering my chequing account as a proof of fund. I consider only my saving account here and back home.

The point is that the proof of fund requests evidence of account activity. How to do so?

Here is my original post, if you do not remember it.

How to response to a proof of fund request?
1_ I sent the saving account bank statement from Canada
2_ I sent the saving account bank statement from back home
3_ I sent the account activity bank statement from back home
4_but did not send the account activity bank statement from Canada, the CPP sent to me the same Proof of Fund request again.

I got the request and replied via email and mail but CPP did not print the documents in the email and waited for the mail that was did not arrive and I got to know that when I asked if CPP attached my documents to my file. I had to send CPP a registered mail with the documents. It was delievered Thursday. I got on Friday the second request for Proof of Fund.
- I will ask cpp if they attached my my (documents) to my file after a week or so.
- I can send cpp an additional mail and email that include all the listed four items. But I do not feel comfortable sending the cpp my chequing account activity information. I do not know what to do.

Hi...if your chequing account is not part of your POF for PR, you don't need to show it...
evidence of account activity means you have to show your account history or your monthly account statements for the past 6 months...if you have signed up for online banking you can just print out your e-statements yourself...if not, just go to your bank and they will print out statements for the past 6 months for you..it's really easy!

A bank statement for the last six months is requested for each bank account where you have your settlement fund.

I agree with Anjuku, to be in safe side you better to show only those accounts which has a consistent savings and transactions. I provided my TFSA account and my chequing account where my salary from university deposits and some of my expenses goes and it consistently increasing every month. I do a part time work under off campus work permit and this earning goes to another account from which rest of my expenses goes. Some time the balance goes down below $500 in this account and thats why i don't consider this account as my financial representation.

Appealing is going on. Still no results. To be honest, I am not optimistic about it! :(
By the way are u from Iran too? Do you know that universities in the back home accept to directly mail the transcripts to WES?

kuzey said:
First, You do not need to put the translated transcript in the sealed envelope. This is the response that I got from WES a while ago;

" they can send the transcripts in Farsi and you can fax us the translation in English."

Second, you can mail the envelope by your seld. Just get that English form signed by office of registrar and ask them to seal both the form and farsi transcript in an envelope. Then you can mail the envelope by your self directly to WES and write the university address as sender address.

About the appeal don't forget to go to your MP. This will help.
Try your best as I think you have a good chance.

I am from Iran too. I did what Kuzey has mentioned. Just Fill in the request for academic records form available through http://www.wes.org/ca/required/International_Transcript_Request.pdf and send it to someone in Iran ( You can scan the completed form and email it. There is no need to mail the original form). Then as Kuzey has mentioned, get the request for academic records form filled and signed by office of registrar and ask them to seal both the form and farsi transcript in an envelope.

Then ask someone in Iran to mail it to WES and put the name and address of the person completing the request for academic records form as the sender name and address. (For my case, these were sent through Aramex postal services)

Alright guys, after 1 year and 3 months, I got rejected. Based on the reason they provided in that email, I didn't have 1 year full time job experience. They neither accepted my 3 years job experience from back home nor my RA experience. They didn't mention anything about that 5 points of adaptability anyways.

" The duties listed in your letter of reference did not match the actions contained in the lead statement under the NOC code you selected. The lead statement for NOC 4012 states: “Post-secondary teaching and research assistants assist university professors, community college and CEGEP teachers and other faculty members in teaching and research activities at universities and colleges.” There was no indication in your letters of reference that you performed these actions, nor any indication that you performed a substantial number of the main duties under that NOC code"

Same bullshit!

I did send updated reference letter. And I was confident the letter was the way they wanted. Too bad that now they require credential assessment! It such a hassle!! Im not sure what to do right now! Next year I will graduate and I was hoping to get that PR done! I have some questions now, and that would be great if some one can help me out! First, do they still accept RA/TA as a job experience? Are they awarding that 5 points of adaptability for 2 years of study? And finally if I want to get that credentials assessment done, should I only deal with my master degree? would that be enough? Or both bachelor and master need to get assessed be WES?! I appreciate your help, feeling frustrated and disappointed! :(
