Would you mind sharing your points based on the initial assessment made by the CIO?.Also, were you requested for further documents?
Based on initial assessment, I have passed the 67 points. But it is not reliable at all because they gave me some adaptability points but they have not accepted part of my work experiences, which was not clear the exact reason or which part of that. I was requested for further documents on February, I submitted the documents a bit after and they have been received it.

Hi Guys
Can any one let me know that how long our application can go to CPP-O after PER issued, according to your senior's experience?

Hey Folks

I was talking to a friend and she only submitted her work experience before joining her PhD as she was confused as her status as RA because these duties are implied and not mentioned explicitly in the appointment letter. She is planning to get her letter from her supervisor and send it to CPP-O.

Do you guys think this is gonna help as she doesn't have the application tested against selection criterion as per her CAIPS but at the same time she has not mentioned 4012 in her application.

Should she go ahead and update the letter anyways.

Thoughts????

Hi Guys, even though I've been following this post long time, this is my first post since I don't have too much experience to share.

PER: Mar 8, 2012
POF Requested: Feb 17, 2013
POF Requested 2nd time (system error) Mar 20, 2013
Start Processing: Mar 22, 2013

Med Done: Apr 17, 2013
Med Received: May 13, 2013

I still haven't got Decision Made on eCas yet. Anyone knows if it is supposed to show up before PPR or they may update it NON-chronologically?

Thanks.

How to contact CIC to update information?

Dear guys,

I have graduated recently. I would like to inform CIC. Currently, I have got my FILE # and PER. Since the email address from CIC is not monitored. So I need to send a letter to CIC. But who should I address to?

The Federal Skilled Worker Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia
or
the visa office (Ottawa CPP) I choose when I fill the forms?

Thank you very much!

Since you have your PER, I would say send it to VO you chose. I would send and email, fax and hard copy of the letter explicitly mentioning File number and UCI number and mentioning more details such as PA and DOB etc. in the email so that they easily identify you and update your file.

Would you mind sharing your timeline for the tracker please.

Cheers.

the regulation does not say 80%of duties have to be met, otherwise, if there are 8 duties, you have to match 7 out of them, no one can really perform this many duties.

Pursuant to section 9.12 of OP 6B, it is a case-by-case basis.
Note: Neither the NOC nor the Regulations distinguish between “essential” and “non-essential”
duties or provide guidance as to what constitutes a “substantial number”. This is left as a matter for
assessment on a case-by-case basis. Officers should make a decision based on the
documentation submitted by the applicant.

See section 9.12 of OP 6B, it has the following.
take into account any years of experience that occur between application and assessment,
and for which the applicant has submitted the necessary documentation (R77);
So let her go ahead and send this letter, it wouldn't hurt to send it at all, they are supposed to accept it as per the above quotation.

FYI: my ECAS has a second line now: "We started processing your application on May 10, 2013." It took them just four days to update it.
