I got PER same day as you but haven't been asked for documents, could you tell us if the proof of funds you provided was very close to the required amount or a couple of thousands more?

Thanks

It was around 4K more than the required amount.

Hey Jubayer, had you provided six months bank transactions with your application file as well or you had not provided six month statements at that time?

Just wanted to know because I was wondering if they ask people who have already submitted bank transactions of 6 months at the time of application to submit a new set of bank statements or not.

Yes, I sent six months statements with my application. Now they are asking for those again.

Hi,

I sent my application to Sydney on 23-Jan.-2014. My money order cashed on 21-Feb.-2014 and my status in ECAS is " in process", but I have not received any email yet! :(

Does anybody know how I can contact Sydney to follow up my application? any email address or phone number ?

Thanks,

Hi,

We sent our application on Jan. 10, 2014, and haven't received any information yet. No cash out, no returned package. The tracking showed that the package was received on Jan. 13, 2014. Does anyone know what is going on right now?

Thanks!

You should be more patient. I would try to contact them if you did not get your PER email a month after CC was charged.

I had two letters. One for RA and one for TA. The RA was signed by my supervisor while the TA was sgined by the department head.
Both letters were accepted.

Thanks!

When updating my letters, should I include activities between the time of application and the current date, … or cut off the content of the letters at the date of the application?

You're welcome :)

Include your activities between the time of application and the current date as well. Also, update your schedule3 form( Since the schedule 3 form has change for new rules, use the old one that you have used at the time of application)

According to page 29 of operation manual OP 6B (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06b-eng.pdf)

take into account any years of experience that occur between application and assessment, and for which the applicant has submitted the necessary documentation (R77);

They should give you points for experience between application and assessment. I updated my letters and schedule 3 and the officer gave me extra points for the experience between application and assessment.

Good luck!
