Dear Rupesh Hari,

I Have applied as a Bookeeper 1231 & have ten year experience in my field.

I wolud like to ask you that generally we check our status in cic site which shows application received is there any other site on which we can check the actual status( that where our file reached) or any email address where we can mail our case so we get any reply

can you tell me what caips stand for

Thanks Rupesh Bhai for your kind cooperation

you can click on the link which says, visa office received you application and it should give you status message like, we received your application on xx of xxx, 2009. Something like that.

I don't know any email address.

Where your file reached is where you sent it.

CAIPS is like a file that they create that has information about your application as they process it. i dont know what it actually stands for or how to get one.

hello rupeshhari,

you have asked my noc i have written do you want to tell me something about my noc that you have asked

The IO has the power to change NOCs if they think another one will fit yours. I was wondering if your NOC is similar to another one that is on the 38 job list. I guess 1111 is the closest but I am not knowledgable in this field to know whether they are close enough to be changed.

You can send an e-mail to your local visa office through 'case specific inquiry'. Go to the website of your local visa office and look for case spcific inquiry. I used that and got a reply in 15 working days.

You should read this statement from the Processing manual

"Officers must:
• consider only those occupations which the applicant has specified and for which the applicant
has provided the four-digit NOC code on their application form (R80(6));"

So the officer is not going to search for NOC that fits.
