I have more than a years experience both full time and part time, and this is my only experience that is continuous for a year. However my HR department wont recognise my job as a supervisor role but my Manager will. She will give me a reference saying that in accordance with NOC for the duties. Does anyone know what the VO's stance would be on this.

Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

then get LOR from your manager.LOR must show ur JDs more then 60% matching with the NOC's JDs u applied under.it must have business card of ur manager on it.means his(or company's) address, phone no etc.

VO will only conatact the address and the person who issued the LOR.they dont knw whether ur HR have any issue with recognising ur experience.its u who will guide them whom to ask for ur LORs confirmation.

i really appreciate your reply. She is the one that is going to write my LOR, but i was under the impression that the VO might contact the HR deparment aswell as the person who wrote the reference? Have u got any knowledge about this?

thank you very much
