appeal or re apply

I need to discuss the issue with u guys and i hope u will help me regarding the same.
My husband sponsored his first wife and she landed in 2009. after their divorce she got married with another guy. but while she was in my husband undertaking she availed social benefits in 2010. My husband filed for my case and he got sponsorship rejection due to default in previous sponsorship undertaking as we did not know about tht. cic asked my husband to pay back the loan and send the clearance letter to us dul signed by officer of social welfare . my husband did the same and after 8 months now we got refusal letter mentioning the following reason:
133. (1) A sponsorship application shall only be approved by an officer if, on the day on which the application was filed and from that day until the day a decision is made with respect to the application, there is evidence that the sponsor
(g) subject to paragraph 137 (c) is not in default of
(i) any undertaking
I wanna ask should we go for appeal or reapply.

it is usually cheaper and quicker to reapply. it's also important when you do reapply that you submit significant proof that addresses the initial concerns in the application. reapplying isn't about sending in the same information hoping for a different result. it's about proving the officer's concerns are not valid.

As you've been advised by scylla already, your app was rightfully refused because your husband was in default of a previous undertaking when he applied to sponsor you. It doesn't matter that he paid it off; what matters is that he was in default when the app was initially submitted. There really is no appeal basis
