Hi friends

I am Canadian citizen
I submitted through representative.
I submitted my application for spousal sponsership to New Delhi, India

File submitted - august 2015

In December 2015 cic transferred my file to New Delhi and send me letter that I am not eligible to sponser my wife due to reason -----------That I have not paid Social Assistance my X spouse used.

Then in Jan 2016 I paid Social Assistance as per Canadian government .
And sent all receipt to Missaauga and New Delhi Embassy.

In August 2016 my representative recieved letter from
Embassy that file has been rejected due to Social Assistance not paid.

Should I go for appeal or new application will be better?????

My representative suggest to appeal judgement. Because I have all receipt of payments and government payment forms also.

Please suggest friends

As people suggested in the other thread, I believe you should start a new application. I think trying to appeal would probably take longer overall than to just file a new application.

it has been established in both of your threads you are better off applying for a new application and submitting proof you are not currently on any social assistance list and have paid the debt owed. the issue of your last application is that it was submitted BEFORE you paid your welfare debt. even though you paid it, you were deemed ineligible because it was not paid before you submitted your application. because of this, there is a good chance an appeal will be unsuccessful and a waste of time. if you submit another application now, you can easily prove you paid your debt before submitting it and you wouldn't be deemed as ineligible.

New application. Appeal will not bring positive result as post facto payment will be viewed negatively most probably.
