Appeal Law Suit FSW pre-2008

I have started new topic for those who joined appeal against the decision of law suit for getting all updates as the old topic beocme old and lots of people make fun of us with no connection.

As per my lawyer to join the law suit deadline is May 10. what about other lawyers any idea about deadline.

We are in the middle of Elections, so guys next days are really very important in Pakistan

Appeal will take 10 to 12 months according to my lawyer. No problem as I can't do anything nor can apply again due to restriction of list.

Although I wish you good luck with your appeal, my suspicion is that it will be a fruitless one.

I believe that what CIC did was immoral, but ultimately not actually illegal. The judge making the decision did seem to genuinely sympathize with the applicants involved, but in the end had to admit that his hands were tied because CIC had not broken the law.

When you say you cannot apply again, I don't believe that's true. There are other routes open to getting into Canada if you are not on the in-demand occupations list.

Have you considered trying to secure a job offer and applying through FSW2 or PNP? Perhaps see if you can get a visitor visa and arrange a trip over to Canada for a couple of weeks and try to get as many interviews as you can?

This is a logistically harder route, but by no means impossible.

Thanks for the comments, I have been in Canada and got one offer in 2006. However, at that time I was not aware of CIC approach and our future elimination. Now its rather diffecult to come again for this. I am not saying word "Impossible". I have good job here and Canada is always my second option which I wanted to remain open as long as I can. Therefore, an easy way to keep it alive is Appeal and that i did. I may further Appeal in Supreme Court if had to, just to keep it alive as long as I can or got the Immigration.

Now as the deadline is over, lets see how many applicant filed their application for appeal. I hope that 50% of the Law suit applicant are in. Waiting for the lawyer feed back
