Appeal how on refusal letter after passport request period expired

Hi all,

I just received a refusal letter for my children's sponsorship application.

the IRCC sent me twice a request to purchase tickets to provide something called Single Journey Travel document since my children carry passports that are not admissible to Canada,

I didnt provide these tickets because I was going under surgery and I didnt know if i will need short or long time to recover and when purchasing tickets you need to pick a specific date,

how can I turn around this refusal letter and get the application reprocessed again.

what are the chances of this refusal becoming permeant.

Why not reapply? You cannot appeal a decision when you didn't follow the instructions.

that's not the answer I was looking for.

people go through some difficulties,

if you cant be of help,dont bother replying.

i would appreciate people who have experience or gone through appeal process to reply.

What answer were you looking for if you don't want to reapply?

You appeal through JR and the courts so get a lawyer. If you go through JR, the judge will determine if you have a case and if you "win" your file will be reassessed by another officer with the same documentation provided in the original application.

You can ask for reconsideration with a webform asking for leneniency and explain the situtation. Reconsideration is for an error in law and you were sent request for ADRs TWICE so you need to explain the situation. There are no timelines for reconsideration so once you send in the webform then you wait to see if file is ever reopened.

Purchase the tickets. Send a reconsideration via web form and include evidence that you have purchased the single journey ticket. It will be up to IRCC if they reopen the application or not. None of us can predict that.

If IRCC won't reopen the application, then your options are to either appeal or reapply.

Probably as much effort you put into replying to the Governments request ….and we all know how that turned out…but of course it wasn’t your fault
