I wonder if people who have applied using canadavisa have started recieveing the AOR's yet? I applied on Nov 3, 08 from US and still don't see any AOR in "track it". I wonder if any of you guys have same situation. I have worked as research assistant for 2 years and I am hoping that I will fall under 21 NOC list. Any comments- I would really appreciate it.

sudhirdeo123,

I also applied on November 5th to buffalo Office, and no AOR yet. However they have cashed my check on December 21st. So sit tight and hang on to trackitt.com.

I have been working for about 3 years now as a mechanical engineer and it doesnt belong in the NOC list. However, I did claim my RA experience in the application and while I was going to the NOC list, I found them mentioning RAs ( same NOC code) being the part of NOC.
Please advice.

Thanks for the replies.

Thanks. I am little concerned about me being considered. There are many occupations which closely relate to my area of expertise. It will be interesting to see if they blindly go by the NOC list or do the comparison at all.

cajoejoe, can you please drop a line (on this post/PM) when you do get your AOR.

Thanks.

Rupeshhari, Thanks for popping this question out. I was going to ask that myself.
Appreciate everyone taking their time out for replies.

sudhirdeo123,

I will update here and as well as trackitt.com. No worries.

Thanks guys. Yes I am on H1-B 9since Oct 1, 08). I looked into that and program and they require you to be on H1-B for 1 year. even though I have been working in US for 2-3 years ( all CPT and OPT+extension) they wouldn't consider me until Oct of this year. Thats the way i would probably go I think. Any suggestions?

Thanks
