Hi everyone, I need some help and clarification regarding how AOR2 works.

We received ours today from Manila VO, and it looks like a general overview of all documents that would be needed. It mentions that if we've submitted them before then not to submit again. My question is, and this is where we're confused, some of them don't apply to us, and some we can't get, ex. Advisory on Marriages, since we got married in Canada and it's not registered in the Philippines. We used the country-specific guidelines for the Philippines which was to send the original certificate which we did.

Now how do we know if they are holding our application until they get whatever was missing in that list, or is it just a general email that gets sent, and acts as AOR2 with the new UCI number? Or another way to phrase it, if they wanted something in particular, would they send a separate email asking for that specific document?

Thank you for any input!

The AOR2 email is just a template and will say the same for everyone from Manila VO.

Since you married in Canada, they will know you don't have the advisory.

Thank you! :) That helps put my mind at rest.
