This is my timeline:

Application package sent to CIO Sydney - October 10, 2014
Application package received by CIO - October 14, 2014
File number/AOR - still waiting

don't worry, they just started processing AOR's for Oct last week. I am Oct 17 and waiting for AOR. Looks like they were busy with Express Entry till now, and have restarted processing. From Oct till Jan no AOR's were issued (exceptions are there). Now they have restarted and lets hope they don't stop

I know right. It's frustrating to wait eh. But I guess prayers is just the best thing to do.

Last AOR to this moment that we know of was application received on October 8th. No one past October 8th has received AOR. Why it is taking soo long can only be speculated. The useful news is that AOR rates have picked up. If they don't stop and maintain the rate, you should get AOR next week.

BTW, the 8 Oct guy is from Singapore Office, from Ottawa I think it is 07 Oct till now!! Lets keep our fingers crossed and lets hope things work out soon

Nothing was ever jinxed. The AOR did not stop coming just stating facts from the data on the forum. I deal in data. I have very little faith in jinxing, luck etc.

Nothing was ever jinxed. The AOR did not stop coming just stating facts from the data on the forum. I deal in data. I have very little faith in jinxing, luck etc.

Kidding man!! I also don't believe in it. It's nothing which we can control. Just hoping for the best!!

Its something like that only. They go day by day, sometimes they may process for 2 days. But they take their own time.

So my friend and I submitted our application together and reached Sydney Nova Scotia at the same day but she just got her file number and AOR a couple of hours ago and I don't have mine yet. I'm kinda worried about mine but I hope it'll come anytime soon. So her timeline is:
