Good Day All,

As a point of information, please see below timeline for reference in what some may now consider, post-covid express entry:

Note:- My spouse and I joined the EE pool as FSW in October 2021 but we noticed that FSW had not been drawn in all of 2021 hence, we decided to join a PNP pool once invited.

EE Profile Created/Rec'd: Oct 4, 2021
PNP (Alberta) Interest Letter Rec'd: Oct 12, 2021
PNP Nomination Rec'd: Jan 26, 2022
ITA: Feb 2, 2022
AOR:
Feb 11, 2022
Request for additional info: Mar 31, 2022 (We had to resend copy of IELTS scores which may have delayed this step by about 2 weeks)
Biometrics Collection Letter: April 4, 2022
Biometrics Completed: April 6, 2022
Ghost Update #1: May 31, 2022 (no change on profile - no email)
Ghost Update #2: June 3, 2022 (background check changes to processing - no email)
Ghost Update #3: June 8, 2022 (no change to profile - no email)
Background Check Complete: June 3, 2022
Ready for Visa (PPR): June 9, 2022
Final Decision: June 20, 2022

Passport Ready for Pickup: June 23, 2022

Can you tell that I was checking my profile and emails regularly? :)

I hope this information is useful as I know how frustrating the process can become with such a high level of uncertainty. Good luck to you the reader and I hope your final decision is favourable.

As best as possible, we tried to make sure that we had all our ducks in a row before starting the process. We were able to provide everything IRCC needed within hours/days in most cases.
Yeah most people do the same.... I'm just saying you literally had red carpet treatment and I'm a little jealous.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting (like watching tumble weeds go by) for my AOR and if I screw up one important document or dyslexically pay $1 less in fees, I'm screwed.

Lol it surely didn't feel like red carpet treatment especially after two additional information requests but yes, in the grand scheme of things and considering today's covid impacted climate, I would say this was a good experience. My hope for others is that this, or an improvement of this will quickly become the norm.
