AOR times or application status

Hi, I forgot to sign my application I sent on Jan 30, 2019. I understand that my application will be returned.
I am just wondering if I am supposed to get an AOR before they return my application?

Or will they just return it without giving me any acknowledgement of the fact that they have received or opened my application?

Any clue, how long does it usually take for applications to be returned

They will return it before they issue an AoR. The AoR is their way of saying your application is complete and will be sent to your local IRCC office.
