I've applied for my PR Spousal Sponsorship in Canada class and I'm waiting for my AOR. However, my work permit is set to expire in Nov 2023 and since I haven't received my AOR yet I will not be able to apply for an Open Work Permit.
What should I be doing in this situation? Should I still apply for an OWP with a statement of purpose just so I'm on implied status and don't lose my job? Or should I still wait for my AOR ?
