Hello, me and my partner applied for inland spousal sponsorship month ago and waiting for the AOR so I could apply for my open work permit (while waiting for PR approval). My visa are going to expire September 16 though and I was wondering what would be the best possible way what to do? I am very nervous about the whole situation and would appreciate any help! (I would be grateful if I don't have to extend my young professional visa, since I am not happy in my current job and would love to switch and not get stuck there)

Thank you for any help!

Options are:
- You receive AOR in time and are able to apply for the OWP.
- You convert your status to visitor and have to stop working from the time your current WP expires until the OWP is approved.
- Your employer obtains an approved LMIA and you switch to a closed work permit. You probably don't have time to do this even if your employer is willing.
- If you have an EE profile, get ITA and submit your complete application before your current WP expires. You can then apply for a BOWP.
