Yes I paid by myself, without getting a request. I paid it and on same day raised a CSE, with payment receipt, requesting CIC to attach the same to my profile.

When we ordered by GCMS Notes on 18-May-2016, which got generated on 26-May-2016, I observed that last an officer worked on my profile was 30-April-2016. Rest all was clear except RPRF pending. it was a co-incident that the RPRF CSE ack also was received on 26-May-2016.

There was also a note with Label "Entered with Error" where it was mentioned RPRF paid (This was the error) and file ready to finalize. may be if I had paid upfront, I may have got PPR little before. This is just a speculation and analysis.

Thanks. I also ordered notes 3 days ago. Guess it is a little bit early to expect them to be generated at this moment. Please kindly advise, would it be a good idea for me to pay RPRF by myself now, or rather to wait whether after GCMS notes they may send this request?

Meanwhile, when you got you notes, was the eligibility already passed?

I am fsw outland awaiting since Jan 29. I did applied for gcm notes today. Through visa file. As the payment was processed they requested to fill the form online and send signed scan copy of form. I did the same and sent through email. But awaiting for confirmation reply.

Did anyone got confirmation reply and after how many days

Will be really thankful

That might be the case, but i think all the files that were processed this weekend were not from Local VO, else wont have seen such a rain.
 
I need some help.. I got an email a few mins ago subject "Ready for VISA". I live in new york and my background check went to "in progress" in mycic. I dont have to update my application and I will need a VISA to enter Canada so I will have to submit my passport.

My questions are:

1) I thought the passport needed to be submitted to the nearest VO. I think there is a VO in new york. But they are asking me to send the passport to CPC-Ottawa-PR. Is that the right place for USA candidates?
2) Also since background is in progress, do I wait for any update on the application to send the passport or I can send it asap?
3) How many days does it take to process the final steps and get the passport back?

My take is that initial screening is done in first 10 days.. and application is promoted. Mine happened by 14-January.

Other check and recommendation happened on 30-April. in which there was this comment, RPRF pending. I had paid RPRF and ordered GCMS notes on same day. CSE took time to get updated and notes did not reflect that.

Paying now is not gonna harm. Infact you may save some 8/10 days after they send you RPRF requirement and keep your profile aside for next few days..

Hi everyone ,

I got Ready for Visa email just right now. Really happy ..
But I havr one problem , I was FSW inland but right now I am in India and getting married on july 7/2016 . i want to include my wife in my application. Also i have to change my Visa office to India. Please help me and suggest me how to do all this thing ?
