I am not thinking. I am wishing hoping it will.
Actually I have noticed last week that too much people have seen their BG moving to in progress with no PPR at all. So rain is coming.

I so wish. Been 170 days for me...I guess, soon I will be in the group "Members who haven't received PPR within 6 months :p". Secondly, unlike most members, my bg is still stuck at "Not needed at this time" :-X

I See lot of BG in progress..

Am sure next wind will take you all across..

Hello,

To Those who have already got PPR and sent the Passports to NDVO, could you please tell me procedure of sending passports to New Delhi Visa office?

1. Do we need to include any letter in the courier envelope or just quoting the PR application number on the envelope is enough.
2. Do we need to include any photographs? If yes, what is the specification?
3. Do they mandate any specific courier service, if not which one is preferable from within India.
4. What is the address of destination(VO) in New Delhi?
5. Among the Passports of family members, do we need to do any thing to help them to identify the Primary applicants' one?
6. Should we also send the envelope with return address so that they can send the passports back?
7. Are we allowed to approach the VO in NewDelhi in person, to get the passports stamped?

Asking these things in advance since PPR is expected this week and I am going on a 2 week vacation to a remote place this Thursday and one the way I will be spending this Friday in New Delhi. So either I need to keep things ready so that I can ask my wife (not primary applicant) to send the passports in my absence or in case the PPR arrives before I go, then I could think of taking it to VO directly.

Thanks in advance.

1. Do we need to include any letter in the courier envelope or just quoting the PR application number on the envelope is enough. - Detailed below.
2. Do we need to include any photographs? If yes, what is the specification? - Yes. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf
3. Do they mandate any specific courier service, if not which one is preferable from within India. - VFS is the registered partner.
4. What is the address of destination(VO) in New Delhi? - VFS will manage.
5. Among the Passports of family members, do we need to do any thing to help them to identify the Primary applicants' one? - Ready for Visa email will be addressed to PA. Rest all will be asked by VFS staff.
6. Should we also send the envelope with return address so that they can send the passports back? - Same as point 1.
7. Are we allowed to approach the VO in NewDelhi in person, to get the passports stamped? - No. Not personally.

Asking these things in advance since PPR is expected this week and I am going on a 2 week vacation to a remote place this Thursday and one the way I will be spending this Friday in New Delhi. Couple of option that were available.

1. Personally collect from VFS counter. Easy and takes around 30 min due to token system. Passport can be collected by passport owner only. PA and Dependent both need to be there. Else issue authority letter to collect the same to any of the family members. Family members will have to provide their address proof and collect the same.

In our case, I had taken authority letter of my spouse and my Government Issued ID proofs. Once my turn came, it took 5 minutes to collect our passports. I opened the envelopes and checked if COPR with one Photo attached and other loose in there, Visa on Passport, Name, DOB, Passport Expiry etc. on Visa. I left VFS office only after I was satisfied with it.

2. They send passport directly at the address that you provide. Passport can be collected by passport owner only. PA and Dependent both need to be there. Else issue authority letter to collect the same to any of the family members. Family members will have to provide their Government Issued ID proof and collect the same.

Regards.
