I am sure we will get the PPR very soon. Patience is something we need to practice every day now. This Friday I complete 6 months.

Congratulations to all lucky PPR receivers.

Unfortunately my waiting has not come to an end. :-[
Today I called CIC and asked about my application. The operator on the phone informed me that the background check is still going on and indicated that processing time can vary from case to case. After the phone call I had the feeling that I did not get any information that I had not known before. Although I was not expecting to obtain any particular insight it was quite disappointing and I felt quit helpless because there is NOTHING than waiting! And apparently that's what I will be doing for a certain time! ???

Man I think it's gonna take time for us. It's only few of us who're stuck in this crazy security checks. I'm August 26th, 2016 AOR (PNP Inland) still waiting for the decision. I thought my case was pretty st. fwd but no idea what's taking sooooo long. Called CIC agents several times with no luck, even tried MP but they're saying to wait until the security chcks are done. We can only wait I guess

Can you please look at the 1. page of your notes? You'll see a title "Group". What is written over there? Mine is "Secure Outstanding".
I would like to compare it with yours. Especially people who received PPR.

I have applied thru a lawyer. So, she must have got the email to her Outlook.
