I know there is a separate thread for BOWP but just posting here in case somebody can help me here..

Is there anybody got BOWP recently? I just wanted to check the timeline please. I applied on July 11th Online. On CIC website it says 33 days for Online application.

My WP is expiring last week of August. Little(very**) worried about that..

It takes 3 months (2.5 if lucky). If you have LMIA do flagpoling and get your WP on the spot.

I called CIC yesterday but the agent didn't provide much info to me. Just let me know that they received my RPRF fee and awaiting for the officer to let me know whats my next step. I hit that 6 month mark tomorrow....... BG in progress since the 7th.... VO Ottawa

I had been calling all day today.. NO one picks up. automated IVR says we are experiencing high call volume and cannot transfer.
That causes even more frustration.

My case also has crossed 6 months today.
I decided to call them on Friday. I hope PPR rain will start tomorrow

Just to make sure, are you talking about BOWP or Regular Work Permit?? Because most of the cases I heard one month max.. (33 days)

When I renewed my Work Permit, it took almost 3 months

Hi, I'm Patrick. CEC or FSW-Inland, AOR Feb 10. (nothing special) No PNP, NOC: 3215 (medical radiation technologist - I might be the only nuclear medicine technologist in Ontario that is foreign)

I received my GCMS notes (requiested on June 20th, internal processed on July 28th, and received on Aug 02) today. I have been a patient applicants, on student visa.

Rec'd Date: 2016/02/09, Categoy: SW1-FED, Group name: EE FSW RFV FEB 2016, Group #: 1-##XXX (I guess this is the batch number).

Basically, Open, In progress.. Eligibility: Passed; Criminally: Passed; Medical: Passed. Application assignment: due date August 13, 2016.

Some other unimportant/unrelated/not-making-sense info obmitted.

EE Eligibility: CEC: met, MST: Not met, FSW: met. Next Recalculation Date: 2016/07/30 (What is that??)

Admissibility: Security Pass, Medical Pass (Mar 10). I noted CIC had "information sharing" with USA to check something.

In CPC-Ottawa.

Notes: Feb 1X: score screened.
Notes: Feb 2X: education screened.
Notes: Feb 2X: Police certificates = OK.
Notes: Feb 2X: score vs. work experience A11.2 = Met 75(2) FSW minimum.
Notes: Mar 09-10: medical.
Notes: July 15: family reviewed.. R75.2.. accumulated over one year of experience in NOC 3215; -LOR confirms substantial number of main duties blah blah blah... Eligibility Passed.
No indicators of A##35 or A37 concern (I don't know what are these).
That's it.

Nowthat I gave you some detailed information. Don't breach them. Hope it gives some ideas about the progress.

another waiting day, seems like somebody hurt these immigration officer's feeling and they are not sending us PPR email's in revenge.
we should contact these people n say sorry in behalf of that unknown person,, that might help.... : :
