Question:

In my cic account, My PR application details tab shows "Updated".
is it the same for all you guys as well ?
I think it was submitted before and now it changed to updated.

You will have some update, let's say maybe background went to In Progress... Mine is still "Submitted"

Yes, I understand. But it will change soon or you may also get PPR before that.

Is not mandatory that BG has to change "In Progress": and applicants will get PPR. There have been instance when there was no change in CIC account and members have received PPR.


Make sure you keep check your email and CIC account on a periodic basis.

Thanks I did not know this. I thought it has to go to 'BG in Progress' to get PPR.

Inland or outland

Hi guys,

Two quick questions:

1) Usually CIC takes the full 31 days to deliver the GMCS report? If not, how long it usually takes?
It's been 24 days, and I didn't receive it yet. I'm afraid that I might have ordered something different or wrong, since my friend who lives in Canada applied for the GMCS by himself on behalf of me.

2) It's been 6 months from AOR already, and I would like to call CIC to check if my application is doing ok. Do you know their phone number?
