Hi, Inland applicant..AOR Feb 26th 2016 and Background check updated on May 28th.. Since then nothing! my eligibility says 'in progress' too... is it normal

It's normal. Mine is in progress from that time as well..

Hi, appreciate any one's feedback on the following. My first set of GCMS Notes had the following Assessment (ordered after 2 months):

Eligibility: Met
Criminality: Passed
Medicals: Passed
Security: Not Started
R10: OK

I received my second set of GCMS Notes (ordered after 4 months) with exactly the same status. What's more just like my first set of notes, my file has not been touched since BG went from 'In Progress' to 'Not Needed' on 26 February.

Should I be concerned?

Same pattern as mine, Not touched since feb. My AOR is Jan 19th.BG still not needed at this time. My first GCMS notes ordered after 5 months conveys same status like yours.
Eligibility: Met

I did not receive the email yet. Just went in cic and saw the update.

Change of status email is received usually 24 hours after change of status occurs.

A background check is needed In Progress

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on this site, but I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I applied for Express Entry through CIC on February 22nd, and received my AOR on February 23rd 2016. I passed my medical a week after and since then, nothing at all. It's been dead quiet. It will be five months by the end of July and my application is still, "In Progress".

Medical passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Background Check Not started
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Has anyone had a similar situation before where nothing changed at all for months? Is this good news or bad news? Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
