My PPR came in yesterday :D Just need to figure out how to send the document to New Delhi office when I live in Sydney. Have posted in a different thread about whether I should just send it to India from here or request for a VO change...

Anyway, this was a status update post...Wishing everyone still waiting luck - keep your chin up :)

Cheers!

ECAS doesn't work for EE-applicants. No one can login there.

Thanks for response,
Another question,
My BG status is still "Not Needed at this time"... :'( I have seen lots of applicants got PPR whose AOR are after my AOR date, in what priority CIC works??

And is there any informative Email sending to us if BG turns to In process?

Thanks in advance

Nobody knows CIC priorities as well as their processing policies. They do not share this internal information. They process some people in 2 weeks, others wait for 7-8 months.
If you have your BG turned to In progress, most likely you'll get an email stating your account has been updated.
Usually BG turns In progress just before PPR, but some people receive PPR with no changes to their BG.

Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum with AOR on 9-Feb. I am PNP Outland from NVDO and still at stage "Review of eligibility: Review in Progress". Do we have more PNP applicants from NVDO at this stage apart from following:
Name AOR
manju_r 7-Feb
Diego2016 9-Feb

Would request others to please add..
Hi, we have very similar timeline. My AOR is 11th Feb, PNP Outland and NVDO. I got my gcms notes and around 18th May and it was exactly similar to what manju_r had posted. So pending security review and the date for next update was 29th May. I have not got any update/emails since 11th Feb. Please add me to the list.

Hi everyone,

We received our letter to send passport photos yesterday. We had to go in for an interview on Monday and since this forum has helped me a lot, I would like to share my experience so other people can benefit from it.

We had to go to Paris for our interview. The invitation said only I had to go, my spouse had to wait in the waiting area and was never called in.

We arrived on time, had to go through the metal detector and I could immediately go upstairs to the immigration section where I was greeted by a friendly woman. She showed me to a cubicle, where I could wait until the immigration officer who was handling my case came in. The interview takes place behind glass so you can’t shake the immigration officer’s hand which felt a bit weird.

The immigration officer was very friendly and asked me general questions like:

- Why do you want to move to Canada?
- What are your responsibilities at your current job?
- What were the requirements for your current job?
- Will you spouse accompany you to Canada? Does he speak English? What does he do?
- Did you already have your medicals done?
- Where do you want to live in Canada?
- Have you already been to Canada? If so, when?
- Have you ever lived somewhere else?

I had created a whole file with all the original documents of our application like WES credentials, language test results, copy of medicals, etc. I also created a bundle for each of my jobs containing the original experience letters, contracts and pay slips. I handed her the whole file and referred to it while I was answering the questions. I basically had all the “evidences” right there and she seemed very impressed by it. In my answers I tried to showcase the skills we will bring to the table like language skills, working with people from different cultures, etc.

So all in all it was a lot of stress over nothing :-). If you have to go for an interview, just be friendly, prepared and confident and you will be fine!

Best of luck!

That makes three of us atleast in the same boat. At last some pattern as there seems to be none so far:)
