for some cases, I saw status of medical passed and BG status change to "In process" from "Not started" in same or in the gap of one/two days.

My medical passed on 26 Feb and still BG is not started ???

Is there a thing to worry ???

Nothing to worry... We all just submitted the application and we are expecting wonders from IRCC.

Even if they change, they will change to not needed. That's IRCC's operating procedure.

1. BG: Not Started/Not needed at this time
2. Medicals: Passed
3. Eligibility: Review in Progress
4. Schedule 4/4A request

I have 19th Feb AOR. What are Feb applicants (FSW outland) expecting in terms of PPR timelines?

(Anxiety and curiosity levels are at an all-time high. Though I understand it doesnt help, but I keep checking this forum every 2 hours and unable to concentrate on my work)

You need to relax, i can see that it's not even a month since you applied and people here are waiting since 6 months. The processing time given by CIC is 6 months and you should keep this as your expectation and not expect any miracle. Try to avoid coming to forums and carry on with your life, it will happen when it is meant to happen. So relax and enjoy your life.

Completely second this statement. For the first 2 weeks after I submitted I was checking my status constantly and checking this Forum constantly.

Then I came to the realization that I've submitted and the process is taken out of my hands. There is absolutely nothing I can do, so now my routine is to check my status once a week and if I don't get any email assume there has been no movement on my application.

ECAS stands for 'Electronic Client Application System', and it has not been available since September or October 2015. The only way to now view your application status is to order GCMS notes.

Also can you please post your timeline?

When you log in, click 'Profile' then click 'Forum Profile Information' then edit 'Signature' and press 'Save'.

I am trying to edit my signature, but it seems there is no way to do that. I can see just Account Related Settings and there is no Forum Profile Information...

hi good day to all. I have a problem uploading the pcc from Singapore. when I want to upload there is an issue date and the issue date does not want me to select year 2016, there is no expiry date indicated in the Singapore police clearance as well

I had the same issue. I picked 2015 and then explained them in Letter of Explanation that there is a system error and I have mentioned the year 2015 which should be read as 2016. So, upload it and do attach letter of explanation along with police clearance certificate.

I think you need to post 20 messages to get the option to edit your signature or mark a user's reply as good or bad.
