Wow!! You got PPR first when my bc in progress last wednesday. Congrats buddy

If you don't receive PPR in the next couple of weeks, it may be a good idea to call them to find out why...I read somewhere in this forum that loads of people had their BG status change to in progress but didn't receive PPR, but when they called CIC apparently their PPR was sent and they didn't receive it due to a technical glitch. However, there is a gap between BG change and PPR for inland applicants, so your call...

Thank you very much for this great info. Doravmon is inland as well but he received his ppr technically the next business day. Is it still safe to call them even if it has not been 6 months mark for me yet?

Congrats..Have a query regarding the PPR Email...PPR email also comes from the same email donotreply@cic.gc.ca like we use to get update when profile is updated or is it from a different email address?

Well, it's a little bit wired, I got the email from another my email address, not the one I usually receive 'update message' email....But I forget when I provided this email address~lol

Yes it is, PPR comes in the email address you submitted in your EE application under personal details, not the email address you registered with myCIC and receive updates for your PR case.

If I failed to receive PPR due to any reason through email, can I find the PPR letter in mycic account?

Guys. What is the best time to call cic. I can't get through as they say they are experiencing high volume of calls. I want to book an appointment for landing in Ottawa. Any idea?

Got PPR Request Today....

Mail was received by my Employer's Immigration consultant instead of me..I was aware of this glitch since i use to see his email id along with my name in the CIC update letters...Even though i raised this error with CIC before, they said everything is fine since i am getting the CIC updates in my personal email during that time. Now i called CIC again and they removed his email ID.

April 27 - Proof of Canadian Citizen Ship for New Born Baby, Submitted on May 18th
May 10 - Extension to submit the requested document
June 6- PPR Email

I recently got my my PR using the express entry route.

I had applied in August'2015(last week) and got the invitation to Apply under FSW in Sept '2015. I had 459 points.

The timeline (approx)

Received Invitation to Apply : Sept '2015
Submission of Express entry application : 1st Nov'2015 (first week)
Acknowledgment : 2nd Nov'2015
Medical : Passed : 6th Nov
Background Check and Eligibility check : In Progress :6th Nov
>> No update till march>>
March 15 '2016 : Ghost update : No message or update could be seen
March 19'2016 : Request for Passport
April 13 : Got Confirmation of P.R along with landing procedures.



No Consultants used , Applied on my own. Single applicant.(FSW category)
