Did your application ever move from in processing?

No it never did.. It's still shows background check in progress even after I have sent my passport.. Hopefully it would change when they post it back

this happened to me too...no movement on my file since march 29 then on may 6, got an update BG check 'In Progress', but i haven't receive any request to pay RPRF.

i have heard from some other forums it may take 2weeks to receive RPRF request after BG in process. so wait. and yes lets stay connected and update as we get anything further.

Nowadays if your BG goes in progress AND you have not paid your RPRF.. you will get PR + RPRF at the same time. This is the latest trend.

Medicals Passed: Feb. 19, 2016
Schedule 4&A submitted: Feb. 23, 2016
RPRF paid: Upfront
BG in progress: May 7, 2016
PPR: May 11, 2016

Congrats to others who got PPR.

I have a question for others. Is it possible to ask them to give more time to submit passports??

can you share your timeline or the status of your BG? my BG went in progress yesterday but got no request for RPRF payment.
