Hello!

Just got an update email today. London visa office is asking again a copy of passport and details of the height in cm and eye color.

My Background Check change fro "Not needed this time" to "In Progress".

I hope that we are near to the finished line. :D ;D :) ;)

Hi Ashot, I also applied for my BOWP on 10 April as WP expires on 26 June. Let's see how it goes. Got my fingers crossed for both of us.

I applied for my GCMS Notes on 1 April. I'm guessing it should take 30-40 days.

I received Open Work Permit Holder fee payment request, made the payment and hope I will have my BOWP very soon. Any news on your side regarding BOWP?

Hi fkab ,
That was fast. My AOR is Feb 09(PNP Inland, also eligible in CEC & FSW), and my Background Check went "In Progress" this morning from "not need at this time", does that mean I should expect my PPR in next few days???

I have another question, my Open Work Permit is expiring on June 25, 2016. And my Timeline is
AOR (PNP Inland) - Feb 09, 2016
Medicals Passed - sometimes in mid of Feb, 2016
Request for Schedule 4/4a - Feb 23, 2016
Schedule 4 submitted - Feb 24, 2016
Background check - In progress - May 10, 2016

Should I apply for my BOWP or wait for my PPR. When can I expect my PPR?

Any comments/suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks.

Question to everyone who receive PPR.

Did you guys receive a request for schedule 4 before you got your PPR request?

I receive my AOR Feb 3rd its been now almost 100 days and my last update was Feb 24 when Bg changed to not needed.

I have a question for those who got PPR. Did you all receive a message in your CIC account in addition to "Ready for Visa" Email? Or did your EE status change after receiving "Ready for Visa" Email?

You get it by regular email.. I got an email saying cic has been updated that morning but nothing had happened and then at lunch time when I checked my email I saw a ready for visa email. But my cic still shows in progress. I heard if they receive the passport and send it back it would show approved .. I just sent my passport so am waiting

We just got an email, no message in MyCIC and no change either. Not expecting anything to get updated til they're ready to send the CoPR documents back.

your landed date is in future :P

Have booked a trip to NY in July so planning to land when we return - if we do it before, there's no guarantee our PR cards will arrive in time and really don't fancy going thro the hassle of getting a travel document!

Thank you Scottygirl. what is making me a little bit nervous is that my BG changed to "In progress" almost two weeks a go and nothing happened yet !!!
I was assuming that the PNP inland applicants would get PPR several days after their BG changes from "Not needed" to "In progress". What do you think?

Unfortunately CIC is unpredictable :-[. My BG check was only in progress for a couple of days before PPR but there were other CEC candidates in the same month as me who's BG check were in progress for 2-3 weeks before they got the email. This whole process is very much a waiting game. Sorry I can't be much more help.

Thank you so much. It did help me.

I never got a request for schedule 4.... Is this a norm or its usually requested for?

Hi I got notified that my BOWP was approved on Thursday last week. I'm waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I was extended by 1 year.

Hopefully good news for you soon as well.
