Hi all,
I am going to apply for PR in couple of days. But I have to go back to my country of birth as my visa to current country of residence is going to expire in 2 months. Does my application will be affected by this situation of moving back overseas??? please help.

Well seems there were a few more PPR's today for Augustarians...so on the average we would have about 3-4 months to wait

let's hope they are going to start process faster this year

It is raining PPRs on Jan 7 and 8! But what I noticed is they are mostly end July AOR. So it takes full 5 months for the majority!

There were quite a few Aug AORs as well, so hopefully the queue is moving. Concern i have is that it seems thay send PPR as a batch. So even if you get DM you may have to wait for PPR batch

Yea, but they might also change this batch habit in 4-5 months when our turn is due. It appears our time in the sun (PPR) will come in May 2016. Somehow we've to survive and shine till then..

Do you have GCMS plans? I am thinking to file in March but could we wait till then?

May is way too far bro! Hopefully we get PPRs before then.

Background check changed from in progress (dec 23) to not needed at this time (jan 7)
Review of eligibility status is still to review in progress (dec 22-jan 7)
No additional documents request (i think its because i included Sched 4 and informed Sched 4a is not applicable for me in my Loe.)
Also, i paid all fees upon submission.

Still nervous of what could happen next.Any thoughts on my application why bg check changed?


Also, PPR as per my friend is sent via email.

I'm at the same stage. I read this generally means we're close to a decision being made on our applications. It can't really be anything else
