AOR in December 2015 - Let's get together

If you login to MyCIC account, under confirmation of online application transmission message, you can click "Read" and it will download a PDF stating, CIC have received your application etc. That is the AOR. AOR is just Acknowledgement of Receipt which you have got. Dont worry, things are fine with you so far.

thanks for replying, the message only shows the receipt of payment. no pdf showing AOR. Following are my status as shown in MyCIC -
Submitted Dec 4th, 2015
Application/profile status Invitation Received
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Not needed at this time
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started

Application status says 'Invitation received' which I think should not be after I have submitted all documents and made the payment.

Is this normal?

You know guys, it's so difficult to predict anything here ...
There are so many factors.. such as your program type, your background, visa office, officer .. and so on...

For instance, some people are waiting for 6+ months for PPR, others just about 3.5 in average.
And finally I know one "fresh PR" guy who's timeline is ...

02.12.2015 - eApp + AOR
04.12.2015 - Medical results: Passed
08.12.2015 - Schedule A
14.12.2015 - BG: in progress, PPR
So, there were just 12 DAYS from AOR to PPR!!!!!

We can only guess...

Seems like we both have the same status' showing on our applications. Doesn't seem a problem to me... would recommend to check about your AOR though! Good Luck.

I did call them just now, as usual very cold responses, the agent mentioned that "Application will only show open only after they started working on it".

However, I only received one msg from them after submission, which had the payment receipt number and no pdf :/

ITA Nov-13th, gathered & uploaded all required documents, appointment for medicals on Dec-18th, just getting nervous!!!

Don't get nervous buddy... Just take it easy and review your documents and forms many times to make sure everything is consistent and OK.
You still have time till 13 January, so don't panic..

I submitted my application on 12th December too and I had only schedule 4 and 4A request...
