Really? Are they working today? Maybe a system issue, obviously they can't start then stop your BG checks

We applied as CEC.

Got a mail from CIC stating that application has been updated but no 'noticeable' changes on MyCIC! 2 questions:

1) What would be the significance of this email since there has been no change on the portal?
2) Are the CIC people working?

BTW my Eligibility and Medicals both show as 'Review in Progress' and the other things are marked as 'Not needed at this time'.

Based on the spreadsheet, some guys got their bg check in progress. Let us hope for the best.

Am_008, can you add a filter feature to the spreadsheet columns, so we can filter/sort applicants by stream, application date or other criteria.

I got an email too, but couldn't notice any changes as well. I am just guessing maybe we should become used to getting more ghost mails such as this? Although it is a killer, because it raises expectation when we get this mail and is a big dampener to finally see nothing has changed!

I got eAOR on 25th and only Eligibility is In Progress, medicals is not started yet. I don't think anyone is working after 25th, so I'll wait for another week to realistically expect some progress.

ITA Received date : 4th December 2015
App submitted: 15th of December 2015
AOR received: 15th of December 2015
Additional Document request: 18th of December 2015 - Schedule 4, Travel History
Medical Passed: 21/12/2015
Additional Document submission: Document submission: 21/12/2015

Would want to point out one thing. At this stage I am reading the following books.

1) Welcome to Canada provided at CIC's website
2) New comer's guide BC as I am planning to settle in Vancouver once I have been issued a visa.

Also please do register for Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) and the Canadian Orientation Abroad (COA) Program as their services are only available to you before you move to Canada.
