Hey everyone...I have a question. I app aug 2011, received CIC AOR Nov 2011, and then a Buffalo AOR Jan 9, 2012. My e-cas status has stayed the same ever since the first AOR (In process, but only "we received your application for permanent residency on Aug 5, 2011" and nothing else). It has not changed to RBVO, or anything.

My visa office is Buffalo. Anyone else in the same situation?

Thanks!!

I'm on the same boat:applied July 22, 2011, received first AOR October 24, 2011 and second AOR on January 12, 2012 with the same exact message with nothing changed. My visa office is also Buffalo. Mark my email and inbox me if you get news first. i will definately do the same if i happen to be the first to get the news!

Thanks! I am gland to know that I am not alone in this one...how do I check your email? I will for sure update you on my status...

Hi acmd & 2011july20,

Congrats.
The AOR letter is with you which is valid.
Do not worry about ecas. It may take some time for updation.

Take care.

Hello acmd,

How did you get your second AOR from buffalo- email or post? I did not get my second AOR but I know that my application is with them as I made an address change update and it reflected on my ecas. my address disappeared sometime last week and is still missing. I also have only one line in ecas.

They sent me an email, and it is the exact same information as in the first AOR from CIC, except, it was signed from Buffalo.

My address also disappeared 2-3 weeks ago...

As per many seniors in this forum, address disappearance not have any bearing on ecas.
It may be a just coincidence in many cases.

So do not worry.

I also received the 2nd AOR through email with the same exact message like the first one.

I have not seen any changes on my status yet, and nothing has been requested or mailed/emailed to me as of this minute.

My address just disappeared beginning yesterday Feb. 15, 2012 although no change of status/information on the e-cas. we are keeping fingers closed.

At least not me. Nothing has changed. I still have the two lines on my ecas and that is it!
