anyone with sample letter of explanation

i urgently needs a letter of explanation for a company which has closed due to liquidation and my wife has no documents related to the company as she went for industrial training there and a letter was requested by cic.

though i saw on newspaper about the closure but not sure if printing a copy of the news with explanation letter would suffice.

I would imagine that if you have newspaper evidence of the company closure, that is strong proof, along with pay stubs and tax receipts.

unfortunately there is no paystub or tax cert because it was an industrial training

Did your wife receive a 'certificate' after the training? This is evidence she was at the training.

No all she did was filling the details of training in her school logbook which was submitted long time in the school
