anyone dealing with an Fxxxxxxxxx dealing with an embassy outside of canada?

My is a appeal case, first i was given file number starting with B, then i won at ADR and since then my file number has changed to F. I am not sure what that means.

I don't know what it means either - our case was also an appeal, but our file number was Bxxxxxxxxx both before and after the appeal was allowed - never an Fxxxxxxx. I don't think it has any significance.

Im going thru the same process as you are , my updated forms were sent on Dec 21st 2010. My file also changed from a B File to and F file.

I won my appeal in Sept and sent in my updated form on dec 14 and still waiting, which visa office are you dealing with.?

We won our appeal on september 2010. we dealing with Mexico City. which office are you dealing with ? when does ur medicals expire? what bout police certificates?

Reading through this, maybe that's what supposed to happen when an application has gone back for reprocessing. Maybe that's why our reprocessing took almost a year - they didn't assign the right file number. If that's true, then it's a good thing that your case has an Fxxxxxxxx file number - rather than a B.

I am dealing with New Delhi, I think medicals are good for only a year. so I asked my wife to get medical done again after we won our appeal and at same time she got her police certificate so we sent of police certificate and waiting for medical and passport request. I am not sure as how long it takes for them to process appeal case. I have heard that appeal cases are priority but not too sure. Have you heard anything like that?
