I used sbi …. The bank only asked for transit code and swift code of scotia bank … they did not asked for beneficiary bank address and said it will be done automatically .. i m worried

But my agent told to use field 57 address of the bank . But sbi remitance form didnt had any option for beneficiary bank address . They asked for swift code and transit code only . And when i asked that u dont need address … they said it will be done with swift code dont worry . Did you also used sbi for gic and had same situation?
Beneficiary bank address is not needed. That is the very purpose of your/beneficiary account Number, swift code & Transit number. Only these 3 are needed.
Got my gic today . I transfered 10230$ and received 1006$ in gic . The sbi bank cut 24$ charges so anyone doing transfer from sbi remember to transfer 30$ extra with 10200$
