Anyone received PPR while APPLICATION RECEIVED status?

Did anyone got PPR request for the files who are in "IN Process" around Jan 2012.

Hi All,

I got a call yesterday from Buffalo office and they conducted sort of interview for 12-15 minutes. My status is still APPLICATION RECEIVED.

What all did they ask you.

The Visa Officer verified everything on my file and asked details about everything. My education, experience, my family, funds and almost everything on the file.
She asked even about how did I find this job. I guess they were verifying the information and also clearing the doubts if they have any.

This is new - they would always call you in for an interview. It's nice to hear that they have adapted to email and telephone and moved away from snail mail and personal interviews. ;D

My Ecas says application received May 2011. I have not heard anything yet. Any suggestion or opinions?

Also are you guys sending Medicals before CIC requested? Aren't they supposed to ask for meds, please advise.

Isn't this the acknowledgement of receipt ? I have received file number.

Can you please share from which number you got the call? Just trying to be vary that I dont miss a call from a similar number if it happens to be the case with me as well.

Hi htayyab,
I got a call from "Private Number". They won't disclose their number of course. For sometime, I really thought that someone is playing prank on me because I never heard of telephonic interviews from Buffalo. After 2 days, my ECAS status changed to IN PROCESS and it says" We started processing your application on January 23, 2012" which is the same date when I received a call.

Oh I see, clever of them to do that, otherwise they would get tsunami of calls

Today when i saw my E-cas at 2 PM my address is not appearing....

Does anyone faced the same one.

Medical Recived- 05 Sep 2011
Medical Done- 07 Sep 2011
Medical Send- 29th Sep 2011
Medical results have been received. - Has been updated on Nov 17
Question was asked to provide the employer letter with roles and responsibility on Dec 7 and i have send it back on Dec 9
We started processing your application on January 10, 2012.
