Anyone knows how to do inland landing?

I just submitted my passport today and I am thinking of landing in Edmonton instead of going to the borders. Anyone knows if I can book an appointment now without the CoPR or I have to wait for CoPR to book the appointment?

Also anyone knows how long it would take from booking the appointment to landing at the CIC office?

you will need CoPR before making an appointment. I think the number to call is just the call center 1 (888) 242-2100 (Correct me here)

appointment is officially is 6-8 weeks in advance.
