.....roughly how long the specific PNP commitment is supposed to last for after landing??

Is it a case of 3,6,12 months or much longer?

Also if Citizenship can be attempted after 36 months, does a PNP nominee need to show a certain duration of commitment to that specific Provence, or is it a case of they must be there for that 36 months???

Oh sorry, one last thing, PMM + BCbound - I noticed your responses with regards to other similar threads, and you claim that landing in a Provence and making a decent attempt to find work and settle essentially IS what a nominee has signed up for. But how does the commitment work with someone who is landing with a job offer?? And what is the view of immigration if that job spec/role has changed from the one originally bought into when applying for PNP approval??

Cheers

1. You probably have to give it a year on a PNP certificate
2. The job is between you and your employer, CIC is not interested if was approved by PNP in a province, although the province maybe.

You can appliy for citizenship after you are PR in Canada for 1095 days so if you have left on vacation for x weeks during that time, it would be 3 years plus x weeks before you can apply. Since you are applying for citizenship of Canada, not citizenship of province, it will not matter in which province you have lived during that time.
