Italy by nature is amazing, I visited most of the state and part of Italia, I stayed at Brescia city (No.1 immigrants here in this city, via milano called punjab, in this city downtown no italians in downtown now mostly immigrants occupied this area), this city located on alps mountains area near to Lago iseo, lago di Garda, near to Romeo Juliet town Verona, Venice Pisa Milan is nearest one. Italy is expensive now day by day, high tax, very less salary, no value of your education or degree outside italy, no citizenship if you stay over 15-20 years leagle , No citizenship for new born baby by birth (remember I moved italy when my wife pregnant upto 6months and I got H1B visa for USA from italy), italian affraids by immigrants and immigrants think that italians are dont like us, NO English subject in public school or government school (like we have in India english subject in your local language schools) you must have to learn italian for work (my employer told me learn italian within 1months I got class 3hours teacher provided by company).
if you loss job its very hard to find job as you are immigrant, whatever if you have long time work stay permit (Permesso di soggiorno per motivi di lavoro) or italian permanent stay permit ( Carta di soggiorno).
I help immigrants and guide them for immigration rules behalf of CISL CGIL and met lots of Indians (mostly from punjab, tamilnadu), pakistani (ravalpindi, gujaranvala) , Bangladeshi (mostly from Shariatpur near dhaka).
lots of reason to leave italy , No future for family and less earning now a days , very less companies will hired you if you loss job.
if your spouse is higly educated and spouse looking for job its impossible to get job even she/he have to learn italian language (no italian language than no jobs, even no value). if you ask anyone something in English than italian people will sure told you that if you want to speak english than go to UK or USA.
yes if you got permanent job than good for earning but not better than UK USA CANADA + english countries.
from my group my some friends moved to UK they are italian origin.
if you want to know more about italy than you have to stay atleast 1year there you will sure love italy but less money to earn.
