Hey!

Im looking for some tips on the best ways to compile all the information i have gathered.

Whats the best way to go about attaching photos and forms?

Thanks!
Ben.

Create a cover letter that includes a table of contents. For the pictures, I would print 4 to a page and include a brief summary of each on the back. Pile everything in the order they appear on the checklist. Don't send thumbdrives, DVD's, photo albums, etc.

So i actually had all my photos printed on photo paper, do you think this was a mistake? or should i figure out another way to include my already printed 4x6 photos?

No, you're good. It's just cheaper to send them 4 to a page. But if you've already printed them go with that. Put a short note on the reverse of each one explaining the 5 w's of each one.

Have a read of these two links:

I used power point, put 2 photos per page, was able to right a description above each pic, I have about 30 pics all togther (since we started dating, and our wedding photos)
I put the pics on a usb, went to staples and printed then out color, cost me about 10 bucks but was so easy.
Before I did this though I spent a whole day figuring out how I should print the photos.

Related question: Is black and white acceptable for photos? If it's not, it's easy enough to get them printed elsewhere, but I've been hoping to do everything at home (where I only have a black and white laser printer).

oh i don't know. hopefully someone else will respond .

It doesn't say, but I doubt CIC would be impressed. Suck up the printing cost and get them done in colour.

I can't see them caring all that much, but I would go with colour

I put 4 pics on one page but the page is only 8 x 13 >:( So the pics are kind of small, should I get them redone to a bigger size (the person who printed them for me said the quality won't be as good if we did them any bigger)

It's fine as long as they're clear and obvious.

I included some photos in my additional information response. Basically it was a story (in chronological order) of our relationship where I interested corresponding photos, as well as more loose at the end. Make sure you indicate when the photos are from and identify others in them. If you have photos with family or friends in them as well, be sure to include them to confirm your bonds with them and their acceptance of your relationship. I did print at home, 2 per page in colour.

Happy Packaging!
