I might be a little bit off topic here, but I applied for my parents' visitor visas online on July 27th. Till date we havent heard anything. Thats crazy.. I didnt know applying online will actually take this longer ???

My mom applied on 21st July, she got the above mentioned reply today from chandigarh vfs.

I applied for Supervisa for my parents at Chandigarh location, Processing time on that day it states 16days. Excatly 16th day they got their passport back with 10 years Multiple VISA on it..

I applied on 16th July, paper application from chandigarh... nothing in terms of any reply or update... they have my passport... there is no closure of any sort and I am freaking out as the days pass... at this point I don't care about the result but at least let me know

I dont know whats goin on ? I talked to my MP last week and asked him if he can find out about whats happening ? I was told the file is under background check and it can take very much longer than expected. I am thinking about withdrawing it. The irony of the fact is that, they have come here more than once without a single prob and left back on time.

Fingers crossed. not to sure what to do..whether to withdraw online and send a paper application ????? or just wait it out.....
