Anyone giving up H1B post their PR approval?

Hi. I would like to know if it is good idea to drop H1B application once you have received PR approval.

I am currently on F1 and filing for H1B this year and this would be my last chance. And currently my PR is approved.
I am in a dilemma whether to wait for H1B result or to leave for good.

Any advise/thoughts are really appreciated.

I say wait it out. You'll know your H1B result by mid-late April (if not an official letter, checks will get cashed). Apply through premium processing, so you get an expedited response.

Also, you should be able to come back to the US with an approved H1B at a later time (ported correctly to an employer etc). So abandoning it rn would close off that option till next year.

Waiting another month shouldn't really hurt? Unless there are other factors affecting your decision?
