I don't think, being a Dentist, "Medical Office Administration" would suit you either.
Hygienist / Medical Office Assistant course is for those who wish to work in a doctor's office in an assisting role.
and both the courses doesn't require a medical background. Any applicant can apply directly from high school and there are no other prerequisites.
Only a few colleges recommend students with 12th grade mathematics or equivalent.
By the way, I was a science student till my 12th and have scored 86% in CBSE Board Exams and I'm sure, i can make it.
Primarily, I'm looking for the Medical office and not the Hygienist course. I believe Hygienist, as it says, is not into hardcore Dentistry. ;D
