Anyone else like us?

I'm Canadian by birth and moved to the US in 1998 to marry my husband. I became a permanent resident and in 2008 became an American Citizen. (had to provide to US immigration tons of documentation to prove our marriage was real). We have been married 12 years and we want to move back because of the economy in MI and the fact that my father is aging and I want my daughter to know her grandparents.

Who else has been married a long time and is now applying? What did you put for has your family and friends met your spouse? Mine has on so many occasions I cant recall dates.

Anyone else a Canadian/US Citizen that is sponsoring their US spouse?

There are lots of US to Canada applicants around (although I'm not one). Wanting to apply long after marriage is certainly not a problem - the fact that you want to move back to Canada together now is the reason you're applying now; the marriage is just what qualifies you to make that application.

I was really just curious if there were more people out there who had been married for a long time since it seems like everyone is newly married or about to be. Also wondered if there were Cdn citizens who had become citizens of other countries and were now coming back and sponsoring. Just curious.
