Well, not recently. My first attempt was in June 2013 and I got a rejection. Will attempt the second time in November. Hope you get yours.

Thanks for replying Hangon. I submitted 25 September and the put 14 days as the processing time. How long did it take for u to get a response? I submitted online.

They responded in about 8 days, which I think was the timeline then.

By the way, I'm Zimbabwean too, not that it helps anything, lol! I think we have to submit a very strong application, otherwise we are automatically considered overstay risks, thanks to those who've gone before us.

Submit in Pretoria on the 25 August 2014, South African passport, got rejected, reason be, travel history, purpose of visit, my financial status, did not even took two full weeks to get my rejection.

Ive submitted, employment contract, letter from my employer stating my leave date and when i will return to work, bankstatement, payslip, affidavit from my husband. I dont know if i must reapply and when.

Shazzy, sorry to hear that. I also got rejected.

You can certainly reapply but I would strongly advise you to apply for your CAIPS notes to see the real reasons for the rejection. Then once you overcome them, you can reapply.

Is your husband in SA or Canada?
