Anyone applied the study permit in UAE from March 2016

I am wondering if anyone who has also applied the study permit for Canada online since March 2016? Previously, the checked processing time from UAE is 6 weeks, then it's 9 weeks and even further to 16 weeks? What happens when doing application in UAE, Comparatively, the processing time in Oman is only 5 weeks.

That also happened here in Brazil.

When I applied for my study visa, processing time was 6 weeks.
On the week after, it went to 7 weeks.

I just checked it now and still is 7 weeks.
But mine took 8 weeks.

It really depends on the information you give and how much detailed it is.
And also processing times differs from a country to another because it will be made by Canada's consulate from your country.

5weeks is already too early for them to decide, anyways they take not less than 7-9weeks. But now they have turned it into 16weeks. So just be pateint now
