Anyone applied for work visa simultaneously with student permit?

I got admission in GBC for sep 2014 intake. I paid my first sem fee and GIC. Medical is done and applied for visa on 29th May 2014 from Mumbai VFS under SPP program.

My program has mandatory co-op. Therefore, my college gave me a supporting letter recommending me to apply for work visa simultaneously with student permit. I applied paper based application through my consultant for the same.
I'm still waiting for a response from delhi embassy. Its been 34 days now. Is there any chances that due to work visa my response is delayed? Is there anyone who got both simultaneously?

My profile is:
10th - 78%
12th- - 67%
B.sc IT -51% (with 2 KT, 1 KT cleared in 3rd attempt and 2nd in 1st attempt)
No backlogs
Work Experience - 5 Years in SEO field
IELTS: 7.5 (R:8, L:8, W:6.5, S:7)
Got admission for Digital Media Marketing program of GBC.

Any suggestions?

That's a co-op WP, you will get it at POE along with SP.
